Television in the Classroom

• Kids Net - This is an excellent site for parents, teachers, and children to find quality shows on television. You can search for TV shows by age, subject, rating, network, and other criteria. Information is also given on taping rights.
• PBS Teacher Source - Schedules, over 1000 lesson plans, and other guides to using PBS in the classroom. Philadelphia teachers should also take a look at WHYY Education for local services provided by Channel 12.
• CNN Student News - News web site for middle and high school students. There are also teacher pages to help with using current events in the classroom.
