• Kids Health - Info on staying healthy, about illness, and about the body.
• BAM: Body and Mind - Feeling stressed out? Having problems with the family or at school? Worried about things you hear in the news like SARS? BAM is a web site designed to help you with these problems.
• Girls Health - This site is designed to provide health information to girls age 10 to 16. It will help with becoming a woman, reducting stress, and choosing a health diet.
• Kidnetic - Good site for information about eating the right food and exercising. It has some good looking recipes.
• Nutrition Explorations for Kids - Find out about the righ things to eat, and play games, too.
• Teens Health - Answers to questions that teens have about physical and emotional health.
• It's My Life - Help with dealing with many problems such as getting along with your family and teachers, depression, and money problems.
• Something Fishy Website on Eating Disorders - Anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders with information on prevention and treatment.
• The National Eating Disorders Association - Look in the Information & Resources section. This site has good, sensible information about healthy eating.
• Get It Straight - Information about drugs.
• The Cool Spot - Information on underage drinking and why it is so totally uncool.
• NIDA for Teens - for teen agers. Understand what effect drugs have on your body.
• Healthy Teeth - This is a good site with animations and illustrations which will help you to learn more about things like cavities and braces.
• Kids Quest on Disability and Health - Do you know someone who can't see or who has trouble learning in school. Check out this site for more information on disabilities.

Illnesses and Disease

• Hidden Killers: Deadly Viruses - This is a great site if you need info on what viruses are and what they do.
• Microbes.Info - News of microbiology and a directory of microbiology web sites. This is a good place to start research if you have a report to do.
• The Microbe Zoo - Explore the hidden world of microbes.
• The AIDS Handbook - Written by middle school kids for middle school kids. Prepared by the students of Eastchester Middle School in Eastchester, New York
• Alzheimer's Disease - If an older person in your family starts forgetting things or acting strangely, it could be that they have Alzheimer's. This can be a very scary thing for you so learn more about it at this site.
• Anthrax - Information on anthrax from the Center for Disease Control.
• Asthma - Learn more about this problem which makes breathing difficult.
• Some Kinds of Cancers Kids Get - Cancer is scary, but kids do not get it often. Learn more about it here.
• The Cervical Cancer Vaccine - Who needs it and how it works. If you are a girl 11 - 12 years old, this is something that you should really think about. This information is from the Mayo Clinic.
• The American Diabetes Association - Lots of information about diabetes.
• The Juvenile Diabetes Research Association International - If you have diabetes or know someone who does, this site will be very helpful.

• Cells Are Us - How do you grow from a single tiny cell into a big human being? This web site explains how cells multiply.
• I Can Do That! - A painless way to learn about DNA, RNA, cells, protein, and cloning.
• Genetic Science Learning Center - Find out about DNA, chromosomes, genetic mutations,cloning, and stem cells.
• Your Gross & Cool Body - Gas, dandruff, farts, digestive system and other neat things about how the body works.
• Twinkle and Eyenstein's Wise Eye Web - This is a great site. It has the eye information, diagrams, and definitions that you need for school. It also has some neat optical illusions, and info about guide dogs for the blind. It is brought to you by the Keystone Blind Association.
• Let's Hear it For the Ear - How the ear works.
• Bone Biology for Kids - This site tells about bones and how to keep them healthy. It also had a dictionary of bone terms.
• Skulls: Structure and Function - This site has really great pictures of skulls from all kinds of animals.
• Your Heart and Circulatory System
• The Human Heart - Lots of information from the Franklin Institute.
• Neuroscience Resources for Kids - About the brain and nervous system. Good ideas for projects, and links to other "brainy" sites on the web.
• The Lungs - Don't miss the games at this site by the Canadian Lung Association.
• Your Lungs and Respiratory System
• The Endocrine System - Hormones and glands.
• The Digestive System - What your body does with food.
• How the Digestive System Works - From How Stuff Works.
